Soundboard
In the Deluxe Edition, the soundboard is crafted from torrefied spruce, meaning it has been thermally treated. This process gives the wood a color very similar to that of naturally aged spruce and enhances its acoustic properties, resulting in greater responsiveness and tonal richness.
Bowlback with Continuous Figuring
The bowlback is made of 29 ribs of flamed maple, carefully selected and aligned during construction to preserve the continuity of the figure and highlight the natural beauty of the wood. The endpiece is outlined with a black purfling that blends seamlessly into the outer linings, creating a refined and harmonious visual flow.
Headstock and Custom tuning machines
The headstock is crafted from flamed maple and features a mother-of-pearl inlay. The Mandolino PeRfetto – Deluxe Edition is equipped with custom ultra-light tuning machines by Alessi, specially made with carbon fiber plates to reduce weight and improve balance.
Decorative Details
The fingerboard, rosette, and armrest are adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays inspired by the distinctive design of the Mandolino Perfetto, enriched with additional details exclusive to the Deluxe Edition, enhancing its elegance and identity.
